There are many different types of betting, details of most of them follow:
Betting System "Halftime/Fulltime"
With this betting System we will use match statistics and some football match facts. Half of the football games are drawn at halftime and half of the football matches ends with a home win.
We will be betting on Halftime/Fulltime or HT/FT (9 possible outcomes) where our bet "draw/home win" or HT/FT X/1 with approximate odds @5,0 presents a profitable option. How does the System work?
Let`s pick 4 games with home win odds between @1,50 and @2,0. If we permutated our HT/FT bets we get:
4 single bets with 20 units staked on each, 6 doubles with 15 units staked on each, 4 trebles with 10 units staked on each and a 4-fold with a 5 unit stake.
Our total stake is therefore 215 units and our return will be: with one correct bet a little less than half of our stake, with two correct bets 575 units, with three correct bets 2675 units and if we get all four right we will get massive 10775! units.
You will be surprised how many times you will get two or three correct bets. Pick the games carefully, be disciplined and you shall have a great success.
Betting System "1-6 nil"
This System is very simple and efficient as the most genius things are. How many times have you come across a match between hot favorite and an outsider? Because of low odds on the favorite you weren`t tempted into betting but there is a small trick that makes it possible to bet on the favorite with odds between @1,80 and @2,0.
Instead of betting on the straight favorite win we will place a series of correct score bets (assuming the favorite will win) which are:
1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, 5-0, 6-0.
The odds that we will get for our correct scores will usually be:

Our bets will be (in correct score order): 13 units, 14 units, 11 units, 8 units, 4 units and 2 units. We have rounded the stakes a little because the approximate stakes amount is enough. No matter which of our covered correct score results will happen we will get around 100 units for a 52 units stake. This means that we placed a bet on the favorite with odds @2,0 instead @1,20.
We will lose our bets if outsider scores a goal or if the favorite scores more than six goals but our advantage is that 70% of such games end with a favorite win, the outsider does not score and the favorite does not score more than six times.
Betting System "Correct Score "
Most of the football home wins end with result 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 which is a statistical fact. Bookmakers usually offer following odds for these correct scores: around @7,0 for correct score 1-0, around @8,0 for correct score 2-0 and around @9,0 for correct score 2-1. We will pick 2 games with this System where we expect a home win for the hosts that should be slight favorites.
Barcelona - Real Madrid 1-0, 2-0, 2-1
Chelsea - Arsenal 1-0, 2-0, 2-1
We can place 6 single bets with 11 units staked on each and 9 double bets with 2 units staked on each. Our total stake is 84 units and our return can be: with one correct score between 77 and 99 units and with two correct scores between 252 and 360 units.
Betting System "double Chance"
You have probably stumbled across betting option called "double Chance" where you can bet on two outcomes in the same game. The problem with double chance betting is that the odds are very low especially if we bet that the favorite won`t lose. This betting System will help us get higher odds and avoid low odds set up by bookmakers. With better odds and two results covered our chances to succeed increase.
This System is prepared in such a way that we have to pick two or three games and cover two outcomes (1X, X2, 12). Example: we will pick two games and cover the X2 outcomes (draw or away win).

2. Newcastle - Everton @2,30 @3,20 @3,0 (X2)
We will have to write four betting coupons:

We will have to stake 10 units on each betting coupon and if our selections win our return for 40 unit’s stake is:

There is of course only one winning coupon but it does bring a solid profit. This System does especially well if the favorite slips up because we have covered other outcomes and with good odds too.
Asian handicap: Asian handicap is a special sort of handicap where the possibility of a draw in soccer game is eliminated. Your winning chance is increased from 33% to 50%. We can set quarter ball handicaps as well and special rules come into play. Below are explained different Asian handicaps.
Straight Bets
One team is typically favored over another by the point spread; for betting purposes, the favorite spots the underdog points. favorites are indicated by a minus sign (-) and the underdog by a plus sign (+) followed by the spread amount. Sometimes there is no spread on a game which the odds makers have deemed to be even money. This may be indicated by a PK (Pick) or an E (Even). For example, a line like this:

(The arbitrary numbers to the left of the team identify that team for the sports book for that week. Home team is listed on bottom.)
If you bet on KC (+3), and the final score ends up to be Philly 21, KC 19, you won your bet since KC covered the spread by 1 point. If the point differential of the game equals the point spread (i.e.: Philly 21, KC 18), this is a push (tie) and your original bet on this game is refunded, regardless of which team was wagered on.
Money Line
Money Line bets on a game don’t use point spreads. If a game is determined by a Money Line, then it will cost more to bet on the favorite. For example, a line like this:
401 Dallas Cowboys -140
402 Washington Redskins +130
If you bet on Dallas, you’d pay $140 in order to win $100. If you bet on Washington, you’d pay $100 to win $130. The Money Line may be represented to 2 decimals. In this case, substitute $100 for $1.
Over/Under (O/U) Totals
You can bet whether the total number of points scored by both teams in the game will be over or under the total set by the odds maker. For example, if the O/U is 38.5 and you believe that the combined points scored by both teams will exceed this number, you would bet over. You’d bet under if you believe the total points score will be less than 38.5.
Parlay
A wager on 2 or more teams or any other bet type. You can combine bets on games, point spreads, O/Us, and Money Lines into a parlay bet. To win your parlay, you must hit all your picks. A single miss and the whole parlay lose. In the event of a push, the parlay drops to the next lower number, i.e. a 4-team parlay becomes 3-teams. Parlays are the high risk/high payout bets. Some sports book parlay odds may vary slightly on the higher number of selections, but the following is a typical example of payouts:
Teasers
Like a parlay, a Teaser is a bet on 2 or more picks. The difference between the two is that in a teaser, the spreads are adjusted in your favor, but the teaser payouts are less than in a parlay. A 6 point, two team teaser would adjust the point spread 6 points in your favor for each game. For example, you choose both of the favorites in the following: Carolina Panthers are favored by 7 points in one game and the New England Patriots are favored by 8 in the other. You would net the spreads of each game against the 6 points. Carolina would now be favored by 1 point (7-6=1) and New England would now be favored by 2 points (8-6=2). In this case, you are betting that Carolina will win by >1 point and New England will win by > 2 points. Like parlays, all picks must be correct to win. In the case of a tie in a two team teaser, your bet is refunded. A tie, or push in a three or more team teaser will reduce the wager to the next lowest level. i.e. a 6 team teaser with a push becomes a 5 team teaser.
futures
The futures odds are set at the time of the bet. These odds are adjusted throughout the season. The futures odds are the odds a particular team will win the Super Bowl, or win their division or conference, etc.
